Shyam Steel Manufacturing Ltd is planning to expand its steel plant in Jemua Mouza in Mejia Block in Bankura District of West Bengal. The project involves expanding iron ore beneficiation plant of capacity 800,000 tpa, a pellet plant of capacity 600,000 tpa, DRI plant capacity of 5 x 350 tpd, induction furnace unit of 6 x 11 T and 8 x 15 T, EAF of capacity 1 x 30T, a ferro alloy plant of 81000 tpa and a captive power plant of 50 MW.
