Maithan Alloys Ltd is planning to set up a ferro alloys plant in Hat Asuria and Basudebpur in Bankura district of West Bengal. The project involves setting up of 4 units of 16.5 MVA ferro alloy unit to produce Ferro Chrome, Silico Manganese, Ferro Silicon & Ferro Manganese. The new unit will have a capacity of 120,000 tpa. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 2710 million.
