Ramco Cement to expand its Kolaghat grinding unit

Ramco Cement is planning to expand its cement grinding unit in Kolaghat in Purba Mednipur district in West Bengal . The project involves expanding the cement grinding capacity from 0.95 mtpa to 2.0 mtpa with an investment of Rs. 2500 million. The clinker requirement for the project will be sourced from its Jayanthipuram plant by Rail. Dry Flys Ash is to be sourced from Kolaghat Thermal power plant, gypsum to be sourced from Tata Chemicals, Haldia etc.,
