Ambuja Cements has built a check dam across Kalnoi river in Mushirabad in West Bengal. The project developed to support the community will help rejuvenate the Kalnoi river and will enable multi cropping of nearby farms. It will also be a source of drinking water with a storage capacity of 91,000 cu mtr of water which can store water up to 10 km upstream.
