Chhabra Ispat Pvt Ltd is planning to expand its steel plant in Nakrajoria in Salanpur Tehsil in Burdwan district of West Bengal. The project involves expanding mild steel billet production capacity from 62,000 tpa to 207,900 tpa by modernization and additon of 2 x 10 T induction furnace unit, a ladle furnace unit of 15T and a 63 tpd of rolling mill unit.
As of October 2018, the project is in planning stage.
