Bravo Sponge Iron to expand its sponge iron plant at Rukni in Purulia

Bravo Sponge Iron to expand its sponge iron plant at Mahuda in Rukni in Purulia in West Bengal. The project involves setting up of 2×100 tpd sponge iron plant to increase capacity from 62000 tpa to 192000 tpa.

The project also involves setting up of 4 x 15 T induction furnace., a 600 tpd rolling mill , a continuous casting machine of 600 tpd, a 10 MW coal fired boiler and power plant and 8 MW waste heat recovery based power plant.

The project cost is estimated at ₹ 4750 million.
