Maithan Steel & Power Pvt Ltd is planning to expand its steel unit in Nakrajoria near Salanpur in Burdwan district of West Bengal. The project involves expanding Induction Furnace with LF & CCM capacity from 135,000 tpa to 375,000 tpa, rolling mill capacity from 90,000 tpa to 297,000 tpa and a new cold drawing work mill of capacity 100 tpd. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 1365 million.
